Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, is in the country for a private visit.

According to information sourced by this publication, Blair arrived in the country on a private jet around 5am today.

It is said that Blair will also meet President Dr. lazarus Chakwera at State House.

State House Acting Presidential Press Secretary Anthony Kasunda confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kasunga, Chakwera invited Blair to State House for a courtesy call.
