Truck drivers are boycotting work demanding an increase of their salaries and improvement of their welfare.
Concerned truck drivers have told the media this morning at Dedza border that some are still receiving 40 thousand kwacha per month instead of K150, 000.
They further said, government is awarding contract to foreign companies to bring fuel and other goods.
Local drivers are no longer travelling a lot.
