Members of the Shire Highlands Milk Producers Association (Shimpa) this morning held demonstrations in Thyolo against the ongoing truck drivers’ strike across the country.
The disgruntled members claim that the strike by the truck drivers has affected their business as their trucks carrying milk have been blocked in Lilongwe.
The members want government to help resolve the concerns by the truck drivers to ensure that their milk is transported.
The concerned members marched from Thunga to the District Commissioner’s Office to make their grievances known.
