Face of Malawi can independently confirm that veteran musician Ben Michael Mankhamba is alive contrary to rumors making rounds on social media.
On Monday, social media was carried with reports that the well-known musician is no more, without giving much details.
As it turns out, Mankhamba is very much alive and he is has not reported to be feeling un well of late, according to close friends.
“Ben Michael Mankhamba is not dead. He is not even sick. He is super fine. Ignore all the rubbish circulating in social media platforms,” said Anthony Duncan Phoya II.
Concurring with Phoya, Efukei Kal said he just had a phone call with the Kamba anga mwala hit maker and he said he is doing just fine.
