The body of late Allan Phetembe, a journalist who was working at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation ( MBC) has been laid to rest at his home village Chinyama, Senior Chief Kalonga in Salima.
Phetembe breathed his last on Friday after a road accident that happened when he was heading to Neno with other Journalists to cover an event.
MBC Director General George Kasakula, MBC Controller of Administration, Timpunza Mwansambo, and other Journalists attended the funeral ceremony.
The Journalist has worked at MBC for a decade.
