Zambia’s Bowman Lusambo Arrested For Assaults; An Offence He Allegedly Committed In 2019

Police in Zambia, Copperbelt province have arrested and charged Patriotic Front (PF) Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo for assaulting two people.
Mr Lusambo said he has been slapped with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and another count of Assault.
He said the charge is in relation to incidents that allegedly happened in 2019.
“I will appear in the Luanshya Magistrate Court on the October 18 2021 for plea. I have since been released on Bond. I wish to thank all our supporters for the support and prayers,” he said.
