18 Year Old Dies In Road Accident In Lilongwe

A push-bike cyclist aged 18 has been killed in a road accident at Lumbadzi along the Lilongwe-Kasungu M1 road this afternoon.
Lumbadzi Police spokesperson, Felix Kwinyani, confirmed of the accident.
According to Kwinyani, Frederick Gandali, met his fate on his way back to Lumbadzi trade centre from Kanengo direction where he went to buy broiler chickens for resale, which was his business.
The vehicle, a minibus, hit the pedal cyclist after losing control near FERMAC in Lumbadzi. The driver of the minibus is in police custody at Lumbadzi police station.
