President Lazarus Chakwera will today preside over the ground breaking ceremony of the Malawi Assemblies of God Church.
Office of the President and Cabinet has confirmed.
According Secretary to the President and Cabinet Zanga-zanga Chikhosi the ceremony will take place at the Church’s Headquarters in the capital Lilongwe.
He further added that the ceremony will start at 9:00 this morning.
Before Chakwera joining active politics, he served as Assemblies of God’s president.
