Nsanje DC suspends recruitment of Enumerators

Nsanje District Commissioner, Dr. Medson Matchaya, has suspended the recruitment process of Enumerators by Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM) on grounds that it botched procedures.
Dr. Matchaya’s has ordered that the interviews which were conducted recently be cancelled.
He suspended the exercise today at a full council meeting, following complaints from young people in the district, who moved his office to act against the same demanding transparency and accountability.
Dr. Matchaya noted that the council was not involved in interviewing the candidates who would work as Enumerators under EAM’s Integrated Resilience Program (IRP) in Nsanje district.
EAM Projects Coordinator, Noel Chinyama, told the full council that he was not better placed to comment.
