27 Year Old Man Electrocuted To Death In Chikwawa

A man aged 27 has died of electrocution when he allegedly tried to steal a copper wire from an Escom transformer at Ngabu in Chikwawa.
Police spokesperson, Dickson Matemba, says the deceased has been identified as Masautso Ganamba of Malemia village, TA Ngabu.
Police say Ganamba touched a live wire and got electrocuted while in the process of disconnecting the wire from an Escom pole.
Police have since warned the public against tampering with Escom property.
