A 35 year old woman who was declared dead at Chindime village in the area of Traditional Authority Mduwa, Mchinji is apparently alive.
The woman, identified as Esinta Ulaya allegedly died last week Friday soon after giving birth to a baby girl on her way to bottom hospital.
She was later buried on Sunday at her home village, Chindime in Mchinji.
A relative to the deceased, Alfred Banda, says Esinta was spotted alive in the nearby village five days after her burial.
Meanwhile, he says, they have called in pastors for explanations for what could be happening.
