Phones have become the closest friend for many people around the world and some people if deprived of their phones today may not survive a day.

As we use our phones, we should take safety precautions to keep ourselves and our phones safe.

Below are some places where you are not advised to keep your phone for safety reasons.

1. In the back pocket of your trouser. Many times you may forget that you placed it there and damage it by sitting on it.

You may also make calls without you consent if your phone is sensitive to touch.

2. Never keep your phone in your bra. Many ladies are used to this as they think it is more secure there when in public places.

Phones emit radioactive rays that have been linked to cancer.

This can therefore increase the chances of you getting breast cancer.

3. Don’t let you phone be in close contact with your skin. This happens when you keep your phone in the pockets of you clothing.

It is advisable to have a small bag where you keep your phone.

4. Leaving your phone charging overnight is not wise. I know that most of us do this after using the phone all day.

One of the dangers is that the phone can overcharge and explode causing fire. Your battery can also be damaged and maybe not stay long.

5. Avoid keeping your phone under the pillow while sleeping. This is the easiest way to keep our phones after using them late into the night while in bed.

The radioactive rays will disturb you sleep and it is unhealthy. Vibrations when notifications come in will also not give you peace.
