The Supreme Court of Appeal has adjourned to a later date hearing of the attempted murder and conspiracy to murder case involving Ralph Kasambara, Pika Manondo and Macdonald Kumwembe.

Manondo and Kumwembe were convicted of attempting to murder former Budget Director Paul Mphwiyo, with Kasambara conspiring the attempted murder.

Registrar Gladys Gondwe has confirmed of the development but could not give reasons.

On his part defence lawyer Michael Goba Chipeta said he was told by the judiciary that all cases scheduled between October to December have been adjourned.

Kasambara is currently on bail pending his appeal.
