Former President Dr. Joyce Banda who is also founder of People’s Party (PP) has donated wheelchairs worth over Mk5 million to needy children at Msundwe.
This is her first charity work after recovering from her recent operation.
Speaking after the donation, Banda said her calling is at grassroots where the underprivileged live.
Banda is one of the leaders in Tonse Alliance led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
