Police in Ntcheu are Keepoing in custody a 40 yeaqr old man for allegedly bitting a nine ,month old baby girl.
Ntcheu police spokesperson Rabecca Kwisongole confirmed of the development and identified the man as Patrick Gome.
According to Kwisongole, Gome bit the baby on her chick and thigh and was since rushed to the hospital for treatment.
However, the police trashed rumoprs that Gome was feeding on the baby.
Meanwhile, Gome has been reffered to Ntcheu district hopsital for examination into0 his mental health.
Other reports indicate that Gome is suspecteed of having been bit by a dog who might have rabies as he was showing its signs.
