Archbishop Bernard Malango’s funeral underway, Chilima in attendance

The funeral ceremony of late Archbishop Bernard Amos Malango, former Bishop of Upper Shire is currently underway at Saint Thomas Anglican church premises in Area 18 in the capital Lilongwe.
State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima is representing President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera at the funeral ceremony which has attracted a huge crowd.
Chakwera directed that Archbishop Malango be accorded a state funeral.
Malango died on Saturday at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH).
