Relatives of the 19 year old boy who went missing on Monday in Zomba have set aside a reward of MK1 million for anyone who will find the boy.

The boy identified as Emmanuel Chibwana left home around 9 am to go to the bank and he did not return home.

“Update to family and friends concerning Emmanuel Chibwana. We are still searching, praying and hoping for his safe return home. We greatly appreciate the prayers and support from you all. We still do not have any information of his whereabout. I will inform you all once we have any meaningful information about his status. 0888604790/ 0888562507/0993346616,” reads in part the statement.

According to his father Khama Chibwana, a lecturer at the University of Malawi, explains that his son wrote a text message expressing that the people in the taxi he boarded were suspicious.

Meanwhile law enforcers have intensified the manhunt.
