Death has been announced of Reverend Father Billy Blazio Pedegu of the Roman Catholic under Dedza Diocese.

Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) Secretary General Father Henry Saindi has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Saindi, Father Pedegu succumbed to Pneumonia at Mua Hospital in Dedza on Wednesday afternoon.

Father Pedegu will be laid to rest this coming Friday.
