Two days after human rights grouping went to the streets protesting against the Tonse Alliance led government over its failure to honor campaign promises, concerned Malawians are also talking the same route on November 5, 2021.
The grouping calling itself Concerned Citizen Social Revolution Movement is scheduled to go to the streets protesting against the leadership of President Lazarus Chakwera.
The protests are expected to take place in in the Capital Lilongwe.
Lilongwe City Council has since granted the grouping a permission to go ahead with their planned demonstrations.
According to members of the grouping, the demonstrations are planned to express their dissatisfaction with how the Chakwera administration is operating.
Civil Society Organizations in the current are accusing the Tonse Alliance government of failing to address economic challenges which have resulted into skyrocketing of cost of living.
However, government through its spokesperson Gospel Kazako is appealing for patience from the general public saying the administration has to settle down.
