Mali’s Coup Govt Orders ECOWAS Envoy to Vacate The Country

The Mali Transitional government led by its military President, Colonel Goita Assimi gives ECOWAS envoys 72hours to leave the country.
Since Col. Assimi Goita took power in a coup, the ECOWAS body has been monitoring events in Mali and has been mounting pressure on the government to speed up progress in normalising political state of the nation.
Events took a twist recently as the 15 member ECOWAS team was asked to leave the country with immediate effect, giving them 72 hours.
