Three newly elected Members of Parliament have been sworn-in today at Parliament Building in the capital Lilongwe.

Chief Justice Andrew Nyirenda presided over the ceremony.

In his speech Nyirenda reminded law makers to always be agents of constituents they represent as they discharge their duties.

On his part, Leader of the house, Richard Chimwendo Banda echoed the Chief Justice by asking the law makers to give their services diligently.

The three are Joshua Malango for Dedza Central East, Wachepa Phiri for Mzimba East constituency and Overstone Kondowe for Nkhotakota North East Constituency.
