Bishop Tambala to be installed as Archbishop of Lilongwe on November 27

Bishop Desmond Tambala will be installed as Archbishop for Lilongwe Archdiocese on November 27, 2021.
This has been confirmed in a statement posted on I am Catholic and am proud facebook page seen by this publication.
“The Archdiocesan Administrator in liaison with the steering committee of the Archdiocesan Celebrations Committee wishes to announce that there will be installation of Right Reverend George Desmond Tambala as Archbishop of Lilongwe Diocese on November 27, 2021,” reads in part the statement.
On October 15, 2021 Pope Francis Tambala as Archbishop of Lilongwe replaces the late archbishop Tarcizio Ziyaye who died in December 2020.
