The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) will administer the 2021 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) English Paper deferred examinations for Ching’ombe CDSS and Chadza 1 CDSS on November 11.
171 candidates from the two schools failed to sit for the said paper after heavy rains accompanied by strong winds blew roofs off the facilities where sitting for examinations.
The candidates had their scripts completely soaked by the rains and three students’ sustained injuries following the incident.
“2021 MSCE English paper 1 deferred exams for Ching’ombe CDSS and Chadza 1 CDSS to be administered on 11th November 2021 from 1.30 -3.15 pm,” reads in part the statement made available to faceofmalawi.
Meanwhile the examinations are currently in progress.
