Some teachers invigilating the on-going Malawi School Certificate Examinations in Kasungu are yet to access allowances for the task.
Some of the teachers have accused Malawi Nation Examination Board (MANEB) of failure to prepare the allowances on-time hence subjecting them to misery in the field.
Kasungu District coordinating primary education adviser, Owen Mwale says the amount of money which MANEB gave the education office did not tally with the hired staff hence the deficit.
While confirming this Maneb spokesperson, Mayamiko Chiwaya claims the district education office submitted wrong data which could not match the payments.
She however says the board is working with the office to rectify the anormaly assuring the concerned invigilators to be paid once MANEB officials are back into the office from supervision.
