Media personality Somizi Mhlongo revealed that he is not gay, but pansexual in an episode of The Braai Show With Cassper Nyovest on Wednesday 10 November.
On the latest episode of The Braai Show With Cassper Nyovest, Somizi revealed that he is not gay, but pansexual. After the media personality was banned from Zimbabwe due to his sexual orientation, a conversation about his sexuality was reignited.
Pansexual is defined as someone who is not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity. Therefore, Somizi revealed that he is open to dating women because he falls in love with a person and not their gender.
“I’m not gay, I am a pansexual,” said Somizi to Cassper.
“I’m attracted to whoever I’m attracted to at the time. So even if I meet a beautiful woman now, I’d date her,” he continued.
The former Idols SA judge has a 26-year-old daughter Bahumi Madisakwane with actress and news anchor, Palesa Madisakwane. He explained thats how he knew he was pansexual the media personality claims he told Palesa he was gay and she said he was lying and “tested him.”
“Even the baby mama knows that when she told me she liked me, I told her I was gay. She said I was lying and she tested me. I decided to go for it and that’s how it happened,” said Somizi.
