Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo, popularly known Winiko has blasted State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima’s silence on challenges rocking the country, saying this will erode his Presidential bid.

Kalindo said this during a media briefing held at DORVIC Hotel in the commercial capital Blantyre.

In his speech, Kalindo hinted that Chilima will lose trust from malawians if he is going to remain silent amid the economic hardships.

Turning to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, Kalindo accused the President of promoting nepotism which was being practiced by the Democratic progressive Party (DPP).

He alleged that State House has been turned into a family affair; offering most jobs to family members.

Kalindo has also questioned why the administration is allegedly failing to investigate the plundered COVID-19 funds.
