Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) executive Member and Director of Youth Bon Kalindo has warned Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) councilor for Bangwe Nthandizi Jomo Osman ward not to cause havoc during his planned demonstrations.
Through a voice not making rounds on social media, Kalindo has said he is reliably informed that Osman also known as Ntopwa has received money from government to cause chaos during the protests in Blantyre today.
Kalindo alleges that Osman has been promised to be given back migodi in Limbe which government through city council took over if he succeeds in disturbing Kalindo’s demonstrations.
Firing warning shots to Osman, Kalindo told him to stay away from his plans else he will learn how to mind his business in a hard way.
“I have been informed that Jomo Osman has received money from government to disturb demonstrations which I have planned in Blantyre with the aim of reclaiming migodi, that is why you caused unnecessary panic in Limbe today,” said Kalindo.
“I am warning you to stop forthwith,” Kalindo warned.
He then dared Osman to continue with his plans to come and cause chaos to his demonstrations today whilst adding that he (Ntopwa) will be able to see his way to the demonstrations and not way back home.
Yesterday, there was havoc in Limbe in which some people led by Ntopwa organized protest against Kalindo’s demonstrations today.
Kalindo is protesting against the leadership of President Lazarus Chakwera accusing him of failing to operate the country citing socio-economic challenges rocking the country.
Meanwhile, people have started assembling at the court in Blantyre in readiness of the protest with heavy police presence.
