Some protesters at Blantyre Old Town Hall are claiming that former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo promised them money if they show up for demonstrations.
The protesters are threatening to cancel the demonstrations if he doesn’t give them their promised money.
Kalindo is yet to arrive at the venue.
Malawians are against the rising cost of living under Tonse Alliance government which is led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
