Chakwera attends Annual Engineering Conference in Salima

President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera on Friday attended the opening ceremony of the Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI) Annual Engineering Conference that took place at Sunbird Livingstonia in Salima.
The conference was held under the theme “Accelerating the Roadmap to 2063 through engineering”.
The president emphasized on the need to build things that matter and last to achieve sustainable development.
He added that Malawi should invest in vision and plans that will help in realizing development according to Vision 2063.
Among others, the ceremony involved swearing in of newly registered professional engineers by Commissioner of Oaths, Madame Grace Chirwa.
