Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has arrived in Lilongwe ahead of Friday peaceful demonstrations over rising cost of living.

Kalindo’s arrival in Lilongwe comes barely hours after Malawi Congress Party (MCP) youth threaten to deal with him.

Speaking upon arrival in Lilongwe, Kalindo, popularly known as Winiko in the entertainment circles said even if he is killed today other right activists will emerge to fight for a better Malawi.

He then urged the youth in the capital Lilongwe to patronize the Friday demonstrations.

Last Friday, Winiko also led Malawians in Blantyre to protest against President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s failure to fulfill some of the campaign promises.

He then gave 14 day ultimatum Tonse Alliance administration to resolve some of the challenges rocking the country.
