President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, has arrived at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.

He will be in the country for two days following an invitation by President Lazarus Chakwera.

Nyusi is expected to sign the visitors book at Lilongwe Civic Offices before proceeding to Kamuzu Mausoleum where the visiting President will lay a wreath.

The Mozambican President is also expected to plant a tree at Parliament.

In the afternoon, Nyusi will join Chakwera for the opening of the Sadc fifth industrialisation week.
