Controversial Prophet Austin Liabunya has promised to reveal Presidential Candidate for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) who will replace Peter Mutharika today.
The development comes barely days after Mutharika held an audience with six Presidential Aspirants ahead of the Party’s elective conference set for 2023.
Writing on his official facebook page Prophet Liabunya hinted that the likely candidate to take over from Mutharika is unexpected.
“Recently DPP has shown 6 candidates that are likely to take over from Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
“But God showed me that it is a person you don’t expect because of his current situation that will take over. But WHO IS HE?,” wrote Liabunya.
He added: “MALAWIANS deserve to know God’s mind tomorrow by 8pm sharp Facebook LIVE from Salima where I am currently.
“I’m not a politician and will never be but I speak God’s mind and always have been accurate since 2009.
“This prophetic update tomorrow is % about DPP.”
Six candidates namely; DPP Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa, DPP Vice President for Eastern Region Bright Msaka, Joseph Mwanamveka, former Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe, Prophet David Mbewe and the other candidate from Kasungu have expressed interest for DPP Presidency.
Inside sources say Mutharika wants Kabambe to take over from him.
