RBM to introduce new K5,000 banknote

Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) governor Wilson Banda is set to announce the introduction of a new K5,000 banknote and another upgraded K2,000 note.
These notes will be in circulation on 24th February, 2022.
He is about to address a press conference in Lilongwe.
