Gloria Chaonamwene Mereka has been appointed as Director of Quality Assurance Services at Malawi Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS).
This has been confirmed in a statement released by MBS Management made available to faceofmalawi.
“Mrs Gloria Chaonamwene Mereka is a results-driven Manager with over 21 years’ experience in Standardisation and Quality Assurance,” reads in part the statement.
Mereka joined MBS in 2000 and has served as Standards Officer, Deputy Director for Standards Development, Chemicals and Textiles and MBS Regional Officer for Northern Region.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Planning) from Edinburgh Business School- Herriot Watt University, Master of Integrated Water Resources Management from the University of Dar Es Salaam and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry from the University of Malawi.
