Epidemiologist Adamson Muula is inspiring parents to take their children of 12-years and above for Covid-19 vaccination once the Pfizer jab becomes available in the country.

Recently the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 issued a directive that children within that age range are now eligible to receive the jab.

Malawi is expecting to receive a consignment of the Pfizer vaccine before the end of the year to compliment the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson jabs that are currently available in the country.

Since administration of the vaccines started several months ago, only persons aged 18 and above have been eligible to receive the jab in the country.
