People took to Twitter and Facebook as they expressed their anger at the 40 million stories, It was said that a grade 8 learner from Seanamarena high school in Soweto received a good citizen award today after she picked up a bag with 40 million and took it to the police.
She said that she didn’t take any of the money because she wants to focus on her studies and not money.
Many people expressed how they felt regarding this as they felt that she shouldn’t have returned the money, As some believe that the story is too good to be true and in no way will 40 million rands fit in one bag.
The story leaves many South Africans angry and confused as is the story true or people are just being played with, Some are saying if the story was really in no way will a child be able to carry a bag full of money alone to the police station, this continues to raise a lot of red flags.
