The leader of Anti-Tonse Alliance demonstrations Bon Kalindo has accused Tonse leadership for lying to Malawians that it will reduce the prices of fertilizer saying based on the current prizes, as very few people will manage to buy fertilizer hence fears of hunger next year.

He said the country is in short supply of fertilizer arguing that some parts of the country are yet to have in stock the commodity but says government is lying to Malawians of the abundance of the same.

He has since said if government fails to address their concerns, it should brace for a series of demonstrations that will lead to closing down of the country’s borders.

Bon Kalindo, well known as Winiko, held demonstrations against Tonse Alliance administration on rise of cost of living.

First demos were held in Blantyre Lilongwe and now he is in Mzuzu.
