First Lady Monica Chakwera has received donations from China for her Shaping our Future Foundation at State House in Lilongwe.
Chinese Ambasador to Malawi, Liu Hong Yang, said this is not the first time that China is donating to the foundation.

The second part of the donation is medical equipment that the Ambassador is donating on behalf of the Chinese people.
There are 21 hospital beds, each of them worth K400,000 and other medical equipments.
Yang said his government is committed to helping the nation.
He also says 300,000 China-made vaccines will be arriving in the country this month.
He said China is working on ten poverty reduction projects that will help Africa at large.
