14-year-old boy arrested for stealing water meters in Blantyre

Police in Blantyre have arrested a 14 year old boy for alleged stealing water meters.
The boy was arrested yesterday after allegedly being caught in the act in Mbayani.
Blantyre Police Public Relations Officer Peter Mchiza has confirmed.
Blantyre Water Board spokesperson Evelyn Nkhonje has said on a monthly basis, they receive 10-15 reports of meter theft.
Nkhonje has since called upon the public to refrain from the malpractice.
