Police are hunting for people who brutally murdered an epileptic on Sunday night in Phalombe.
The district’s police spokesperson, Jimmy Kapanja, has identified the deceased as Bonafacio Magaisa, 27, who hailed from Mdoda village Traditional Authority Mkhumba in Phalombe district.
Kapanja said Magaisa left home for a disco show within the village Sunday but he did not come back.
He added that the body of Magaisa was found laying in a foot path that lead to the maize fields with multiple stabbed wounds on the neck.
The police spokesperson further said the assailants have also chopped private parts, removed eyes and the stomach had its intestines out.
