Malawi records three cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19
Malawi has recorded three cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19 and are all from Lilongwe.
Health Minister Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda further revealed that three are not showing symptoms but are in isolation.
Chiponda disclosed this when she was addressing journalists on the current situation of the pandemic in the country.
She has discouraged parties during Christmas and new year celebrations, political rallies and Church gatherings.
After the Presidential Task force on COVID-19 meeting next week, the minister has promised to come back to the media for an update.
