Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice president for southern region, Kondwani Nankhumwa visited the arrested party officials.
Nankhumwa firstly visited Dalitso Kabambe who has been locked up at Lingadzi police.
He then visited Ben Phiri at Kanengo police.
Nankhumwa continued his journey to Lumbadzi police where he cheered up Joseph Mwanamveka.
Mwanamvekha and Kabambe were arrested for presenting false economic figures to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) while working as Minister of Finance and Governor of Reserve Bank of Malawi respectively.
Ben Phiri was arrested as the registered owner of Beata Investments over fraud and corruption at Ministry of Gender between 2018 and 2020 when he was working as Minister of Local Government.
They are to appear in court today to be formally charged and apply for bail.
