President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in Botswana ahead of his engagements as SADC Chairperson.
The plane carrying the President and his entourage touched down at Sir Tseretse Khama International Airport at around 4 pm.
Upon arrival, Dr Chakwera was welcomed by the SADC Executive Secretary, Elias Magosi and Foreign Affairs Ministers from the two countries among other dignitaries.
The Malawi leader will be in Botswana from 12-15 December as he seeks to familiarise himself with the regional agenda.
