We are already in the month of December, and in few days from now, the Christmas season would be here. The Christmas season is characterized by a lot of doings and happenings, which in one way or the other affects Android phone users.

If you use an Android phone, and you don’t wish to have regrets this season, please do these 5 things.

1) Install Google Drive: Google Drive is a Google app that helps you save videos, pictures, documents, informations and other important items on Google. This is very important as the things saved on Google can never be lost, even if your phone gets lost.

Now, the Christmas season is a period where phones gets lost a lot. During this period, phone theft is also very common. To avoid losing some important files, images or documents along with your phone, it’s important you install the Google Drive and save your things there.

All you need to do this is just an email address and a password, which you must not forget. Save your files on the Drive and be assured of not losing them when you lose your phone.

2) Save your phone contacts with your email, not your Sim card: Saving contacts with email is not only important because it can accommodate thousands of phone numbers, it’s also important because any phone contact saved with email remains there forever, even if your phone gets lost

If you save your contacts with Sim card, you could lose both your Sim and phone and begin to have regrets when you’re in need of an important number, but when you save them with email, just get a new phone, log in to your email, and the phone contacts appears on your phonebook.

To save contacts on email, just simply select all your contacts, then click on share, and then Gmail. Put in the email you wish to save the numbers with and send, and that’s all.

3) Find your Sim pack and keep it safe and handy: Without your Sim pack, it’s very difficult to do welcome-back in the event that you lost your Sim and wish to recover it. For this reason, it’s important you find that Sim pack now, and keep it safe and handy, so that you wouldn’t have regrets if you lost your Sim.

If you can’t find yours, copy out your Sim PUK and save it where you can always access it.
