Mulanje District Commissioner, Stallichi Mwambiwa, and his two directors for have been suspended over alleged arrogance.
In a letter dated 10th December, 2021 signed by all the 18 councilors in the district, the councilors said the DC Director of Planning and Development Ernest Kaphuka and Director of Public Works John Monjeza have been refusing to meet with them to discuss the councilors’ grievances.
Mwambiwa said for the sake of peace and avoid embarrassing each other, they have stopped going to their respective offices today Monday, December 13, 2021.
