Security agents in Uganda have put the opposition figure Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bob Wine and his family on house arrest as ordered by the country’s 77 year old president Yoweri Museveni.

The arrest follows a planned program by Bob wine to visit Kayunga District to Campaign for the flagbearer of his party.

Before his plan was executed, the military and police surrounded his house and sealed all the gates not allowing anyone to come in or out of the premises.

According to reports, some domestic staff of Bob wine and some youths supporting the reggae star cum politician have been violently arrested.

Bob Wine has been on the neck of Museveni accusing him of failing to govern the country in a fair manner.

However, Museveni has been trashing Bob Wine’s allegations.
