Faceofmalawi is reliably informed that business tycoon of Asian origin Abdul Karim Batatawala has been released on bail few hours after his arrest by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Social commentator Onjezani Kenani has confirmed of his release in a statement posted on his official facebook page.
“Apparently Batatawala is out on bail already. ,” wrote Kenani.
But ACB Director General Martha Chizuma is yet to comment on Batatawala’s release reports.
