Law expert, Professor Edge Kanyongolo commended the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for its concerted efforts in ending corrupt practices before he insisted that, the bureau needs to take all initiated corrupt cases into transparent and accountable conclusions for justice to take its course.
Kanyongolo’s remarks follow the recent arrest of Cassius Chiwambo, Director of Energy, Business Tycoon, Abdul Karim Batatawala and Fletcher Nyirenda, Commissioner responsible for operations at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services over abuse of office.
According to ACB principal Public relations officer Egrita M. Ndala, all suspects will be taken to court after the bureau has interviewed them.
