Magistrate court in Chiradzulu has sentenced a 42-year-old man, Lojas Dolola, to 72 months Imprisonment with Hard Labor (IHL) for fracturing both legs of his wife.
First grade magistrate Lameck Mkwapatira found the accused guilty of intending to cause grievous harm contrary to section 235(a) of the penal code.
Reports indicate that Dolola used a hoe in injuring his wife, suspecting her of going out with other men.
The accused who hails from Makhalira village, Senior Chief Likoswe in Chiradzulu.
