Uknown people have gruesomely murdered a 32-year-old woman, Aproscina Chibwe and her baby in cold blood.

Reports indicate that the deceased was discovered dead, lying naked in her bed with a stab wound in her stomach, while her baby was placed in an upside-down position in a bucket half-filled with water.

The bodies of the deceased suspected to have been killed on Thursday evening were discovered in their house in a decomposed state on Saturday night around 21:00 hours.

Meanwhile, Charles Mulenga, a mayor in Zambia, described the incident as unfortunate and appealed to members of the community with relevant information related to the incident to cooperate with the police.
